Project Intro
Meet YL and her family, who were drawn to their new home by the allure of a tranquil neighbourhood. The centrepiece of their affection was a majestic tree, standing tall for hundreds of years on their outdoor terrace. With a desire to incorporate the beauty of nature into their living space, they sought the expertise of our interior styling firm. Tasked with maximizing the potential of their spacious apartment, we eagerly took on the challenge, ensuring their home reflects their love for greenery and provides a sanctuary for their family.

Stylist's Note

In collaboration with YL, we curated a neutral canvas for the living and entry space, allowing intentional choices in textures, gold/brass details, and accent colours to take centre stage. The result is a sophisticated yet family-friendly environment that perfectly balances style and functionality.

To foster togetherness and relaxation, we designed an open living room that encourages quality family time. Instead of a traditional coffee table, we opted for versatile chaise units that can be easily moved and rearranged. This flexible layout empowers YL and her family to adapt the space to their ever-evolving needs, making the most out of their time together.

An essential element in defining distinct zones within the living area was the carefully selected area rug. We chose a rug with a repeatable pattern, striking a delicate balance between openness and cosiness. This rug serves as a unifying element, seamlessly tying the living room, dining room, and play area together, creating an environment that is harmonious and inviting for YL's family.
