ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
Kristie
Kristie wanted her home to have a modern farmhouse charm while being practical for family life. We focused on thoughtful details and smart design to create a space that feels welcoming, personal, and suited to family needs.
PROJECT INTRO
Step into Kristie’s refreshed home in the New Territories, where modern farmhouse style meets elegance with a playful twist. Framed by expansive mountain views, this apartment is both a retreat and a canvas for personality, complete with whimsical touches like bold animal sculptures that spark curiosity and conversation.
Our focus was on reimagining the living room, dining room, bedroom, and baby’s room—bringing a sense of calm through natural textures, rustic details, and a palette of soft, inviting tones. The result is a space that feels effortlessly stylish, yet deeply personal.
Living & Dining Room
The living and dining areas were designed to feel connected yet have their own character. In the living room, the large L-shaped sofa takes centre stage, offering a cosy spot to relax. Soft throws and patterned cushions bring in texture, while a geometric rug anchors it.
The dining room features a round table that prioritises moments for gathering, which is particularly important for a new family who wants to maximise moments together. Paired with comfy upholstered chairs that feel both practical and stylish, the dining table´s shape is accentuated by the round carpet below it.
A mix of dark and light woods adds warmth, with subtle contrasts giving the space depth without feeling overdone. This shared area works just as well for quiet nights as it does for hosting friends and family.
Master Bedroom
The bedroom was designed to be a peaceful retreat, styled with cool tones and soft textures to create a calming atmosphere for a guaranteed night of restful sleep. But the room isn't without personality; a whimsical giraffe sculpture stands in the corner, making the space feel both tranquil and uniquely charming.
Baby's Room
The baby's room was styled for functionality and a touch of whimsy, the perfect place for a baby's formative year. A charming play area features a starry tent, soft cushions, and plenty of space for imagination to take flight.
For story time, an inviting armchair sits perfectly by the window, creating a snug spot to lull the baby to sleep. Every corner of the room to make it a joyful space for both baby and parent.
